Support services
Once a site or application is live, it is vital that the developers do not walk away to concentrate solely on the next new and exciting project. We have a commitment to support our customers, through the 30 or 90 day warranty period included in the development budget to ongoing support contracts.
Domain name registration
From standard .com and .co.uk domains, through newer .info and .biz, to the more obscure .tv and .fm - Base can register domains at a fraction of the cost normally charged. This is possible because of the partnerships we have formed with the various domain registry bodies.
Hosting
An increasing area for our business, many of our clients ask us to arrange hosting for the sites or services we have developed. We can host smaller sites on shared servers to mission-critical sites on multiple redundant dedicated servers - at competitive prices.
Server configuration
Where clients arrange their own hosting, or we are implementing intranet/extranet solutions - Base can carry out complete server installation and configuration for NT Server 4+ and Windows 2000 Advanced Server, and arrange all licensing with software vendors.
Network support
We are also support office networks, including servers, network cabling, desktop PCs, and all software.
Technical support
Our support contracts range from constant independent monitoring of services with immediate notification, through next-day problem resolution for incidents registered before midday, to quoting for individual problem resolution.
